Palazzo Porto Breganze

Palazzo Porto Breganze, on the left flank of Palazzo Porto-Colleoni, is in size one of the most important palazzi in the flamboyant Gothic style in Vicenza. Its dating goes back to the years between 1448 and 1552 with later interventions in the '80s of the same century. What is interesting is the portal and interweaving four-arched window adorned by sculptures attributed to Tommaso and Bernardino da Milano (the portal) and Giovanni di Antonio Grandi da Como (the four-arched window).
In 1725 Francesco Muttoni made substantial modifications: the facade was raised and the fronts of the interior courtyard, which still had their loggias if only in part, were renovated.
In the second half of the 18th century some of the rooms were decorated by Jacopo Guarrana and Girolamo Mengozzi Colonna.
