Campo Marzo
Campo Marzo is a vast green area south-west of the historic centre, near the railway station. The name Campus Marcius probably derives from the word "marcita", "marshy", and in fact in the past it was a swampy area, fenced off as protection against wolves. It is crossed by Viale Dalmazia, a road which during last century was changed into a promenade designed by the municipal architect Bartolomeo Malacarne.
Address: viale Dalmazia
