Area of the Roman Aqueduct

The remains of the great Roman Aqueduct, which drew water from the springs of the Motta di Costabissara plain, can be seen in the area of Lobbia (3 km to the north-west of Vicenza along the main road SS 46 to the Pasubio).
What is left is a section of about 180 metres with five arches and twenty pilasters. The arches all had the same span of 3.30 metres.

Address: strada comunale of Lobbia
