Museo del Risorgimento e della Resistenza

The Museum of the Risorgimento and Resistance is housed in the Villa Guiccioli on the descent from Monte Berico, the theatre in 1848 of heroic resistance on the part of the population of Vicenza against the Austrians. It has documents and souvenirs of the greatest historical interest, bearing witness to local and international events in the period from Napoleon's first Italian Campaign (1796) to the end of the Second World War and the struggle for liberation.
