Collection of old paintings in the Banca Popolare di Vicenza
Constantly enriched over the years with precious period furnishings, Palazzo Thiene houses the Banca Popolare's permanent exhibition of ancient masters, in particular painting of the Veneto and Vicenza from the 15th to the 18th centuries.
The great masterpieces are by Giandomenico Tiepolo, Jacopo Bassano, Bartolomeo Montagna, Palma il Giovane, Domenico Tintoretto, Gaspare Diziani and Giulio Carpioni, who has a whole room to himself in Palazzo Thiene.
In the Palladian loggias there is also a refined collection of sculptures by Arturo Martini, one of the most representative artists of 20th century Italian art.
