Villa Loschi-Zileri-Dal Verme

The Villa Loschi-Zileri-Dal Verme was commissioned by Count Nicolò Loschi from Francesco Muttoni in 1734 and was built on a pre-existing construction. Inside, the frescoes of the first-floor salon and stairway are the work of Giambattista Tiepolo and date back to 1734. They are Tiepolo's first works in Vicenza.
They depict the allegories of Time discovering Truth, Merit, Nobility, Industry and Innocence. Other frescoes represent "Glory crowning Merit", "Modesty fleeing from Pride", "Constant Love and Charity", "Mars and Genius", and "The Triumph of Glory among the Virtues".
