Villa Valmarana "ai nani" - Lodge

The rectangular body of the lodge originally had the seven arches open and the porch giving straight into the guests' rooms.
Here too, as in the main residence, the rooms are frescoed by the Tiepolos with some work also from the hand of Mengozzi Colonna and Antonio Visentini (room of the Loggia). Beginning from the first room on the right we find: the Chinese world, the daily life of peasants, a holiday (or the Gothic room), Mt Olympus with its gods, Carneval, architectural fantasies (room of the Loggia) and Putti. The middle room is not frescoed.
