Church of San Nicolò di Schio and Convent
The Church of San Nicolò was in 1200 the seat of a group of penitents. In 1536 the Commune entrusted it to the Capuchin Friars. The convent was suppressed in 1769 and reduced to a private residence, and for almost two centuries the complex was abandoned by the Franciscans. Since 1946 the church has belonged to the Franciscans again.
Inside, above a beautiful altar in inlaid and gilded wood, there is an altarpiece by Alessandro Maganza: "St Nicholas with Saints Francesco, Chiara, Caterina d'Alessandria and Lorenzo".
