Grotto of Lourdes
The Grotto of Lourdes is the key-point of all the religious and Marian activities that have developed in these last decades, and which have today reached an annual presence of more than one million and a half pilgrims.
It was built in 1935 by Beato Claudio Granzotto, with devotion and competence, and is the faithful copy of the one in the Pyrenees, in France. The Statue of the Immaculate Mother - in Carrara marble - was executed by the Beato himself, who infused the marble with his deep admiration for the Virgin.
